Pedigree Davignon I × Rubinstein I × Frühlingsball × Milan
|Piroschka||Pik Bube I|
|St.Pr. Mareill v. Milan|
The expressive Dark Rubin presents himself in an elegant dark chestnut coat. He combines first-class basic gaits for the highest demands with his excellent willingness to work as well as outstanding rideability values.
Dark Rubin embodies the today wanted pedigree of a dressage horse with jumping genes in the later generations. The own double-talent of Dark Rubin has already been assumed during his stallion performance test. Later under Toni Hassmann, Dark Rubin celebrated his bronze medal in the show jumping final at the stallion championships in Aachen. In further course of his sports career he collected placings with the best in advanced (S) level dressage classes and had been trained up to Grand Prix. Today, he enjoys his still youthful spirit at his old age.
His sire Davignon I was Bundeschampion of German riding horses in 1992 und produced numerous offspring who won in advanced (S) dressage classes. The heroic sire of the dam, Rubinstein I, was multiple Grand Prix winner. Frühlingsball, found in third generation, was one of the most prominent all-round-sires of Westphalian breeding and produced more than 100 advanced (S) level dressage and show jumping horses.
The great granddam State Premium Mare Mareill was sister of world-class show jumper Magister, who won the Grand Prix of Aachen with Ulrich Meyer zu Bexten in the saddle. The dam line is known for numerous sport horses for the highest demands, but also for the licensed stallions Classic Man, Doncaster and Ladylover who all bred as private stallions in Westphalia.
At the moment, Dark Rubin’s son, Dawson, scores brilliantly under the Swedish Tove Melin in the international U25 Grand Prix tour. His daughter Dubai Classic became twice Broodmare Champion at the national broodmare show in Altefeld (2004 and 2005) and was successful representative of her breeding association at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf.
