The beautifully built Schöner Stern embodies a high level of rideability, is gifted with an excellent character and pleases due to his outstanding manner of jumping and his three above-average basic gaits. His offspring attract with his brilliant type combined with first-class quality of movements.
His sire Silvio enjoys an excellent reputation in Hanover in Oldenburg. Beside numerous licensed sons and show mares he produced also first-class sport horses, such as Shutterfly/Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum. Furthermore, the Silvio sons, Sir Holtrup (stallion performance test winner) and Sir Lui (reserve licensing winner) are both out of dams sired by main premium winner Feiner Stern, so that, here, we have the often tested but rare transmission effect where everything is transmitted perfectly (Passer effect). In third generation is the well-framed Absatz son named Aktuell. The great granddam Wolgena delivered the top dressage horses Feiner Herr (by Feiner Stern). Schöner Stern originates from the widely spread line of Weissena (by Folkert-Goldengel- Granikus etc.) which is also origin of Grand Prix horse Weihegold (I. Werth/B. Buchwald), which causes internationally a lot of attention in the dressage arena, but also of the licensed stallions Canaster I and II, Dartagnan (state stud sire Dillenburg), Falstaff (int. successful in dressage), Friesengeist (Bundeschampion; int. successful in show jumping), Good Future (SWE), Inselfürst, Lord Liberty G (I-a main premium 1995), licensing winners Top of Class (1987) and Triumphator (1986) as well as Vivaldi. The internationally successful show jumper Garanzo (Markus Renzel) represents this line too.
