Incredibly beautiful, elegant and elastic as well as endowed with great assets, Rio vd Withoeve presents his quality on the international tournament grounds. In terms of sport, Rio vd Withoeve is successful up to 1.40 m. Among other things, he impressed with great clear rounds as part of the international youngster tours in Hamburg, Oliva and Jakubowice under Anna-Maria Kuhlmann. At the age of five, he already demonstrated his enormous talent in front of an international audience on the Youngster Tours of Samorin and Vejer de la Frontera.

Father Untouchable excelled with a top-class international sports career under Daniel Deusser. Numerous 5* successes in World Cup competitions, Nations Cups and Grand Prix go to the Untouchable’s bulging success account. In addition to his outstanding jumping quality, himself known for his heart and attitude, Untouchable passes on exactly these qualities to his offspring. In addition to a number of top athletes and approved sons, he produced star sire Uriko and the 1.60 m successful stallion Untouched/Ben Maher, who in turn is the father of the exceptional stallion United Touch/Richard Vogel.

The dam’s father, Enrico van de Withoeve, is a Hanoverian son of Embassy I – Calypso II. Promoted up to the 1.50 m level by the Belgian Yves Vanderhasselt, he was sold to Mexico at the age of nine. Moderately used in breeding until then, Enrico van de Withoeve produced some internationally successful offspring up to the 1.55 m course.

In the third generation, the Selle Francais stallion Gotha Brecourt, who is successful even at 1.60 m level, completes the internationally influenced pedigree.

Rio vd Withoeve’s mother produced Touch of Gray vd Withoeve, a licensed full brother to Rio, and Pipa vd Withoeve, another internationally successful sport horse at 1.40 m level. The international sport horses HBR Spike/Gregory Wathelet (1.60 m), Ushuaia vd Withoeve (1.50 m) and Kazan vd Withoeve (1.45 m) come from close maternal relatives. The great-grandmother Praline vd Withoeve was successful herself in the 1.50 m course.
