Description
Pure sporty elegance – Veni Vici embodies the modern dressage athlete with top quality, absolutely correct conformation, step-off, power and very good legs.
On the occasion of the Westphalian stallion licensing at Münster-Handorf Veni Vici inspired as premium stallion. He especially attracted by his very elegant look, combined with powerful sportiness and outstanding quality in every phase. Breeding director Thomas Münch summed up: „ Another premium stallion by riding horse-maker Vaderland. He has been remarkable in the pre-selection already, performed perfectly on the lungeing-rein as well as in free-running. He is clearly standing in a rectangular frame with a harmoniously well-set neck and sloping shoulder, presenting straight legs with strong joints and hoofs.”
Veni Vici impresses with powerful movements, swinging through the entire body in rhythm with the gait, showing freedom of the shoulder and engaged hindquarters. A clear uphill canter with powerful push-off as well as a regular walk complete the basic gaits repertoire.
The combination of a very harmoniously and correct built body, thoroughbred-type with mental power and vision as well as Veni Vicis natural quality of movements fulfil all requirements for a long and successful sports career.
His sire Vaderland’s blood consists of the successful genes of Vitalis and the genes of the Dutch grand prix-stallion Krack C/Anky van Grunsven as well as the grand prix successful Oldenburg Contender-son Contango. Several international winnings in prix St. George- classes under Dinja van Liere give prove of his great talent for grand prix. In breeding he presented, already at young age, a high number of premium stallions, auction price highlights as well as winning sport horses. Due to these successes Vaderland was proclaimed “Oldenburg VTV Stallion of the Year 2024”.
His dam’s sire Sir Donnerhall I, who became trademark stallion in the pedigrees of numerous successful horses, was himself a celebrated Bundeschampion and World Champion of young dressage horses. With more than 100 licensed sons and over 230 advanced level successful offspring Sir Donnerhall I found a whole dynasty already in life.
The Celle state stud sire Gandhi, found in third generation, unites the grand prix blood of the line-founding stallions Gribaldi and De Niro/Donnerhall. Gandhi came es one of the price highlights from the Oldenburg licensing to the Celle State Stud, where he passed successfully his performance test and qualified for the Bundechampionat of five-year-old dressage horses.
In the further line of Veni Vici’s sport-oriented ancestries you can find the grand prix-sire Fidertanz, thoroughbred Langata Express xx, who refines countless pedigrees of successful warmbloods with the precious shot thoroughbred-traits, followed by the performance-blood of the trademark stallions Pik Bube I and Moltke I.
Veni Vici’s great granddam gave birth to the licensed stallion Fabion Ble Hors as well as the Inter I-class successful Young Rider EC participant Spartacus
The fourth dam, Langata’s Dame, produced beside the both licensed Inter I-class winning brothers Hohenstaufen I and II, the international 1.60m-class successful show jumper Ramila as well.
Origin of success is the highly successful Holstein dam line 5421, which is also known for top sires such as grand prix stallion Ramiro’s Bube, Ramiro’s Sonn I and II, Reichsgraf, Contendro’s Bube, Ci Ci Senjor Ask, Quantensprung, Don Bosco or Don Crusador.
